Istvan Pogany is Emeritus Professor  at the University of Warwick. Previously, he taught at the Universities of Hull, Exeter, City University, London and at the University of Connecticut. Istvan Pogany has researched and written extensively about human rights and minority issues in Central and Eastern Europe. He is currently completing a family memoir set mostly in Budapest and is working on a book about Transylvania.
